| Description |
| Perform code-quality GTAW (TIG) fillet and full-penetration butt welds on thin wall (.028 & up) tube (primary form) and sheet metal of Aluminum, Titanium, stainless steel, and Inconel alloys.
Will have to qualify to AWS D17.1, Bombardier GEN-010 and Cessna CSMP-039 aerospace fusion welding standards. Prefer ability to qualify 6G and 5F for maximum range of positions qualified.
Must be able to dimensionally fit, tack and weld parts to specification requirements.
Required to pass visual acuity test – 20/30 or better in either eye (corrected or uncorrected), able to read Jaeger #2 Eye Chart @ 16 inches
Able to read and interpret drawings, work orders, specifications and procedures |
